Responsibilities
- Programming and adapting PLC controls (Siemens S7/TIA Portal)
- Further developing and optimizing control systems for production plants
- Translating customer requirements into working automation solutions
- Carrying out on-site commissioning (FAT/SAT)
- Managing programming interfaces between machines and systems
- Creating HMI visualizations
- Supporting the creation of control and operating concepts
- Fault analysis, I/O testing, functional and safety checks
- Independent technical implementation within projects
- Close collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders
- Supporting the development of in-house Siemens PLC expertise, including PCS 7
Your profile
- Completed training or degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience developing control concepts
- Solid hands-on experience in PLC programming with Siemens S7/TIA Portal
- Experience with other PLC systems (e.g. Beckhoff/TwinCAT) an advantage
- Knowledge of Simotion and PCS 7 an advantage
- Experience with camera technologies (e.g. Keyence, Cognex) desirable
- A high degree of initiative, problem-solving skills and technical understanding
- Careful working style and team orientation
- Confident manner with customers
- Good to fluent written and spoken German
- Good knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel for projects
- Class B driving licence
